2nd day of NY

Hi,
I'm Daito
and today is Dec30th
tmr is new years eve that i'm really excited.



today i did a few things.
1)visit to 9.11 museum

2) go to see state of liberty.

3) have a most famous hot chocolate

4) visit metropolitan museum

5) have a dinner with my gf's friend

6) watch Chicago

i'm gonna be addicted about going to watch this kinda performance.(musical)

it was really great!!!

this is the memorable day!

i'm gonna wait for 12 hours under the freezing temperature. 

but it's gonna be ok because ball drop will be my one of the most valuable memory in my life.

【しゃべくリアン年末】2013年まとめ

どうもこんにちは
今週のテーマは「インタビュー活動記」
海外にいてインタビューをしていない僕は、
特に書けないかな〜と思っていたんですが、
いつも頑張ってはる先輩に、
「書いて」とわざわざ声をかけていただいたので
書きたいとおもいます。


テーマは「リアンメンバーとして今年僕が何を手に入れたか何を貢献できたのか」


僕が手に入れたのは、
新しい素晴らしいメンバーたちです。


まだあった事が無いのですが、人柄もよく、向上心があり、
人事（ひとごと）に一生懸命だということは分かります。


この一年で僕は彼らがどんな人なのか、
「しゃべくリアン」を通して見る事が出来ました。
（すべての記事はさすがに読めていないが・・・）


これはLienにとっても僕にとっても大きな事です。
すばらしい「人」たちに囲まれて活動ができる。
そこから団体がさらに活性化していく。
僕はそれを客観的にみることができました。


ここまでLienが活性化したのは、
引退された長瀬さん、
関西を引っ張ってくれているようちゃん
の御二方の頑張りが大きかったように思います。
（ふたりはやりたい事をやっただけだと思うが）


その他にもしゃべくりあんを引っ張ってくれたはらゆいさん。
次期代表のよしけん。東北代表。
そしてメンバーのみんな。
それぞれの活躍を「外」から見る事ができました。
日本にかえったら、この素晴らしい仲間たちと、
切磋琢磨しながら、人の魅力を発信していきたいです。


僕がLienに貢献できたことは、
ちょっとした誰でも出来るようなデザインをすることでした。
デザイン勉強中のぺーぺーな僕に仕事をふってくれた長瀬さんのおかげです。
そう思うと僕がこの一年貢献できたことは、ありません。


これはとてもよくない。
来年の抱負としては、メンバーのサポートを掲げたいと思います。
（もちろんインタビューはします笑）

サポートというと、
・Lienのメンバーが動きやすいようなシステム作り
（例えばWebsiteの最適化、簡易化）
・流入数の増加の政策
（SEOやサイト画像のデザイン）


時間はかかるかもしれませんが、
貢献するために来年１ねんも
全力でがんばりたいと思います。

Arrived at NY

Hi,
I'm Daito
and today is Dec. 29th


today i arrived at NY.
when we arrived there, it was rain.
but after leaving hotel,
it was not rain!
we are so lucky!!lol


we explored around times square.

someone was preparing for Ball drop!

i can't wait for that count down event!
we also visited skate rink.

New York City is awesome.

I'm still excited even i'm at hotel now.

tomorrow,

i'm going to go to see "自由の女神"

and visit 9.11 museum, and enjoy watching "Chicago"

Senior's birthday

Wild Lights

and today is Dec. 26th


today i went a event called "Wild Lights"
it's like illuminated event at zoo.
i took a lot of pictures,
so I'm going to post them on facebook.
it was so beautiful.


after that,
we cultivated new restaurant that has great atmosphere.
we ate "uni" it's been a long time.
that was great time.


i am going to celebrate my senior's birthday tomorrow,
but until then, i have to do a couple of things.

Christmas Days

Hi,
I'm Daito
and today is Dec 25th

i was unable to write 24th,
so i'll combine them.

24th

I booked great place to spend quality time with my girlfriend.
Until checking in time, we went shopping to buy Christmas cake, or something other stuff.
after shopping, we killed time at cafe where she recommended me by talking, searching some events on 25th, or something like that. (our check in time starts from 4pm, lol)
after that we went great restaurant.

after having dinner, we went back the place where i booked,
and ate the cake we bought with wine.

before starting to eat it, we traded Christmas present each other.
She bought it for me.

that's awesome. Thank you sooooooo much!!!!
and we started eating the cake with watching a movie called "love actually"

25th

we woke up early to have breakfast buffet.
actually, we thought we already paid for it,
but we didn't, so we had to pay for it.
it was worth to pay though, lol

after having breakfast, we checked out.
and then, we got home to watch movie.
as soon as we got home, we took a nap
because of early getting up, lol

after we watched the movie,
hanged out with friends by having curry-rice, and some alcohol.

conclusion

this Christmas was super fabulous for me!!!!

and today is Dec. 23th
tomorrow is Christmas eve!


today i spent long time creating a new pic for Lien's website.

i didn't make it by myself.
i made first draft, and discussed with lien members.
they gave me good suggestions so that i made it that has nice quality.


i noticed i really like making stuff with members.
they give me another perspective.
i appreciate this opportunity around me,
and members.


I can not write tomorrow's article
because i'm going to stay up all night tomorrow.
but I'll write later.

ride a cruiser

and today (actually yesterday) is Dec. 22nd

i rode a cruiser.
after that,
we bought some cloths for going to NY
like grub, scarf, socks, or something like that.

after shopping,
we did kinda double date, lol
it was fun actually.

today i spent almost whole day sleeping, lol
but i felt really happy.


after that,
i went to attend a event called J×J

everyone that attend to the event is really kind,
i was really impressed.
they believe Jesus, but i have a different belief.
but the belief that wants to be kind another person so that it's destiny.
i'm getting interested in religion like which religion has what belief.


as of today, i'm done internship till this year,
so i can do what i want.

seafood hot pod

and today is Dec20th


today i did internship for 4 hours.
not long actually.


after that,
we went to Japanese market to buy some material for hot pod.
we decided to make seafood hot pod,
so we bought crab, fish, and shrimp.
it's really gorgeous, lol


when we prepared for hot pod,
a bad thing happened.
but we totally enjoyed that.

i felt really happy today.

it reminds me last my birthday

and today is Dec. 19th


today,
i went to a restaurant that you can eat tons of fruit with breakfast.
i ate fruit as much as i can.
it remains me last my birthday.


my request to my parents for last birthday present was like
"I want to eat strawberry as much as possible.


what a suck order for birthday present request, lol
but back then,
i didn't have any stuff that i want my parents to buy.

i just remembered that by eating tons of fruit.

【しゃべくリアン20】2013年の「楽」

こんにちは
だいとです。


喜怒哀楽シリーズも最後になりました。
今週のテーマは「楽」
楽しかった事です！


今年の楽しかった事は、
「自分のstereotype（固定観念）をぶっ壊すこと」


僕は留学にくる前、
アメリカという国に対して、
信仰心をもっていました。


例えば、
・アメリカの教育はすごい
・アメリカは自由の国
・アメリカではどこにでも成功のチャンスがある
・アメリカ人は勤勉
などなど、挙げればきりがありません。


ですが実際に現地で暮らしてみて、
自分のstereotypeがいかに的外れだったかに気づきました。


それ気づいた瞬間、つまり
自分の世界が広がった瞬間、
僕はとてつもない楽しさを覚えました。


世界を知るために英語を勉強している僕にとって、
最大の楽しみは「stereotypeをぶっ壊した瞬間」


多くの人の固定観念と、
現地でしか知れない現実のギャップ。
それを自分の言葉で発信して埋めることができれば、
僕の最高の楽しみに溢れる瞬間だと思います。


そのギャップを自分の言葉で発信するためにも、
「自分のstereotypeが壊れて行く瞬間」を、
自分で気づく必要があるんです。


最後にもう一度、僕の2013年の楽は
「stereotypeをぶっ壊した瞬間」

and today is Dec. 18th


today i woke up really early like 5:30am
because i went to bed around 9pm yesterday, lol


after i woke up,
i wrote a article for end of this year.
while i was doing that,
i felt like this year was almost finished.
time flies...


after that,
i was setting up mail magazine thing.
i learned mail magazine system,
and how to utilize it.


i would like to establish the mail magazine form
as soon as possible.

bad point of my advertising

and today is Dec 17th


today i interned.
i learned more than usual
like photoshop tech, or
how to place materials, or
how to treat bad pictures.


today i made this adv.

The font that says happy & healthy new year is not good for this ad

because it looks like kinda child.

i know the carved fond is for child, and not professional.

but i was going to fit it to the atmosphere.

but now that i think not looks like professional means nobody wants to entrust them,

so i should have used another font.

but my supervisor said the idea(layout) was good.

i have to make more and more!!!

awesome weekend(13th,14th,15th)

and today is Dec 15th


Dec13th
I was a host of birthday party for my close senior,
so we were drinking a lot until night.
after taking care of the people who were drunk,
i slept because the next day, i had to wake up early.


Dec 14th
i woke up early to attend Christmas party that
my girlfriend's supervisor had.
the house is really amazing
because the house is really huge,
and fashionable, and there are many great facilities.
we traded christmas presents each other.

after that,
we visited our senior's house.
we spent 5 hours hanging out by talking, drinking.
his child is really cute!
playing with him is really fun for me.
we really appreciated to him, and his wife.
we had really great dinner.
thank you so much!!

Dec 15th
today, i spent relax time with my gf.
after that, i hang out with senior who is same university with me.
it was great time. Thanks a lot!!

this weekend was awesome.
i appreciate these opportunities around me.
and thanks mom, and dad
because of you guys, i'm able to spend quality time in Seattle.

crab pod

today,
i went seafood restaurant named "crab pod" with my housemates
who leave our house end of this quarter,
so we spent time as memorial.

i talked with my senior.
she is like my sister.
recently, we didn't talk a lot,

【しゃべくリアン19】2013年の「哀」

こんにちは
田中大登です。


今週のテーマは2013の「哀」
つまり悲しかったことですね。


悲しかった事は、
だいぶもやもやしたものになるんですが、
「自分がそこにいないこと」ですね。


お母さんから妹弟の話を聞いて思うのは、
・俺が家にいたら負担もっと減らせるかも
・俺が家にいたら弟の勉強とか見てあげれるのに
・弟、妹は家事の手伝いしてくれてるかな〜
・一緒に飲んで親が抱えてる悩みとか聞きたいな〜
とか自分がそこにいないことで生まれる虚無感といいますか・・・


友達の悩みを聞いても、
その人の現状が見れてないから、
自分のケースで話してしまう。
「俺はこうしたよ〜」って。


anyway,
アメリカに来たことに対して
後悔は微塵も無いのですが、
そういう虚無感ってのをときどき感じたりします。


だから帰ってみんなと直接話せると思うと、
楽しみでしょうがないです！！

i went to the office as internship.
today, i called other company to try to make appointment.
i was nervous at first, but at last, much better.

today i spent three hours talking with my conversation partner.
after that i read a comic book named Misorara
it's about people who work for a small design company.
main character's position is writer, and desk-working.
other position are like designer, sales.

you can learn "what is important for us to do business"
my position is also writer, and designer,
so i feel like i'm there.
that's why i think the comic book is meaningful to me.
but you can also learn how to educate junior through the one.

japanese restaurant

and today is Dec. 8th


today i spent almost whole day writing an article for website.
after that,
i went to japanese restaurant with my housemates.
that was awesome. we ate many kinds of food,
but the cost was just $23.
japanese restaurant tend to have expensive price though.


my throat is sore,
so i have to use medicine for that.
but don't worry, i don't catch a cold.


i'm gonna go to bed right now.

Christmas party~my way of thinking is Christian?~

and today is Dec. 7th

today,

i went to Christmas party to talk with the person that i met at Global Village.

i ate great food that people who come the party bring. 

after chatting people,

we were singing Christmas song.

after that,

we had discussion about Jesus.

actually, I'm not Christian,

but i have similar idea with them.

the only difference is fundamental of way of thinking.

my idea is from my experience and my parents.

their idea is from Jesus.

but idea is almost same

like 縁, なるようになっている, 感謝, something like that.   

that's interesting.

today i visited Microsoft!
that was really good experience for me.
i can hear valuable talk from worker about system, and happiness.

【しゃべくリアン18】2013年の「怒」

こんにちは！

以前は「喜」ということで、
今回は「怒」ですね。


正直「怒」はあまり思いつきません。
というのも一時の感情でイライラっとすることはあるけど、

次の日になると忘れているパーターンが僕の常なんです。。。


このテーマを見たときに、自分で振り返ってみて、
一番「あ〜俺怒ったな」と思うのは、
評判の悪い先生のクラスでのできごとですかね。

＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝
君達には、20スライドのプレゼンをつくって、
1スライド20秒で発表してほしいんだ。
お題はこの中から選んでね。
つまり20×20=6分ちょいのプレゼンだよ。
文字は一切つかっちゃだめ。
勝手にスライドが20秒で切り替わるようにして。
effectiveなプレゼンテーションの練習だよ！
僕が試しにやってみるよ！
＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝

その先生のプレゼンはひどいものでした。
20秒で勝手にかわってしまうから、
早口だし、観客の反応をみれていないし、
なによりすごく自己中なぷれぜんでした。

だから僕は、
I don't think that the presentation is not effective
because you can't care about audience,
and your speed is really quick because of the automatically system.
in addition, when Olivia(classmate)came here during your presentation,
you said "wait" to her. it's ridiculous.
setting limit is important, but setting limit to each slide is not effective way.
i have the point that i wanna emphasize, and also i wanna make simple.
some slides just need 5 sec,
but some slides need more than 20 sec.
this is presentation isn't it?
と反論しました。  

いつもここまで反論しない僕が、
ここまで反論したものだから、
today Daito is angry.といわれ、
次の日もDaito, are you still angry?と。
このしつこさに僕は今年一番いらいらしました。w

いろいろ先生と口論するのは、
こっちにきての初めての経験だったので、
それはそれでよかったかなと思っています笑

Hi,
I'm Daito
and today is Dec. 5th


as of today,
our third quarter finished,
which means my life of studying abroad is
almost(3/4) done.


what i'm gonna do in last quarter is just internship.
i enhance my design skill by making many adv through this internship.


from now,
i'm gonna go to graduation party that my school has.
after that,
we are gonna drink with my classmates,
so i'm writing it right now.

tomorrow,
i'm going to visit micro soft's office!!!
i can't wait that!!

burden is piled up today

today i was gonna meet with my conversation partner,
but we didn't because he had to take a exam tomorrow,
so he needs to study right now.


during class,
when i was reading english book,
teacher asked me question.

good things happened to me,

my favorite time

today was so cold.
i need more layers, omg


after school,
we cooked stew.
it was awesome.
eating great food with who i love is
always thankful time for me.


today,
i was going to design new advertising,
but my supervisor doesn't reply to my mail,
even though she assigned me to do that,
and i can't start doing that without knowing the information that i asked her.
i don't believe she has work experience.
my friend is better about job even they are students.


so i'm watching FRIENDS right now
to study english and of course for fun.

hanging out

today i had to give a presentation about amazon's case study,
i made it very seriously.
it was fun because that's what i'm interested in.


after school,
i hang out with my friend who is native speaker that i was hanging out at first quarter.
i felt like i could speak fluently but it was just coincidence,,,omg


after that,
i met with my conversation partner.
since i was talking with him a lot,
i could speak english well at that time, lol


after that,
i spent time with my gf.


today is filled with fun things since i woke up.
i appreciate it.

finally, Dec starts.

i have to maximize my learning.


today,
i went to North Gate Mole,
and enjoyed buffet lunch.


after i get home,

i'm almost done making it.
i have to wait for some data from my team members.

this consecutive holidays were awesome for me.
i spent long time with my important person.
